Customer Support Intern

Job description

Foreign Policy’s data & revenue operations team is hiring a part-time Customer Support intern for Fall 2021. The successful candidate will primarily answer any questions and troubleshoot issues from both Foreign Policy subscribers and non-subscribers via email and phone. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer focus and will partake in conducting 1:1 interviews to learn about our customer’s experience with our various product lines.

The person in this position will:

  • Manage incoming customer communications to FP’s email inbox and phone line, providing outreach and follow-up to ensure the highest degree of satisfaction.
  • Identify bugs and work with the development team and external platforms to troubleshoot errors and test fixes.
  • Conduct 1:1 interviews with subscribers to learn about their customer journey.
  • Assist with special projects. The intern will have an opportunity to work on collecting subscriber feedback and developing customer health scores.
